Obama’s Got The Public Behind Him On Gun Control

Just yesterday, January 17, 2013, Obama exposed his plan to reduce gun violence. With the constant homicides in Chicago, tragedies that occurred at Sandy Hook and the Colorado movie theater (just to name a few), he is pulling out all stops on this senseless nonsense. The proposal includes requirements such as criminal background checks for every single gun sale, reinstating the assault weapons ban and educating arms dealers on how to properly perform a background check.

Obama’s proposal has been in debate for months amongst Republicans in Congress and the fate of the policies being passed by the Senate is just ahead in the coming week. Thus far, it looks like the people are in support of the proposal. Hopefully the changes that are approved can make a better difference.
