For me, the third day of Lolla was really fun and also very tiring. This was my first time ever attending, so I didn’t really know what to expect going into it.
The first person I saw perform was Bia and she had an amazing set. Other than “Whole Lotta Money,” I didn’t really know any of her other songs, but this made me really want to check out her music. She was super engaging with the crowd, even bringing people on stage for a twerk contest. She even performed some unreleased songs for us as well to really get us hyped. The performance made me feel that Bia is here to stay.
Afterwards I chilled out, walked around for a bit and got food. I was able to try the spicy chicken sandwich from BJ’s Market and a slice of pepperoni pizza from Lou Malnati’s. It was so good. Honestly, all the food there was a hit.
Then I went to see Megan Thee Stallion’s performance and it was so good! It was hard to see because basically the whole festival was watching her performance. She performed her older hits like “Big Ol Freak” and “Freaky Nasty” and her newer ones like “Savage (Remix),” “Body,” and “Thot $hit.” The energy was amazing and contagious, and everyone in the crowd knew all the lyrics. It was just a good time overall.
I was super tired when I got home. I was moving so much at Lolla that I ended up walking almost nine miles!
Let’s see how Lollapalooza ends their last day.
