A Vaccine Up Your Nose?

Are you tired of getting shots for all your COVID-19 vaccines and boosters? Well, here is some good news! Scientists are in the works of creating a COVID-19 vaccine nasal spray.

Past vaccines have been in the form of a shot but doctors are starting to think that’s not the most effective way to protect people.

Following the Omicron surge, many began to wonder if there was an easier way to stay healthy aside from getting shots. The solution? A nasal spray.

“A switch in the vaccine delivery route from a shot to a sniff could muster a wall of immunity right where viruses find their foothold and block the spread of the virus, preventing even mild infections,” reported the Washington Post.

By using a nasal spray, you’ll create “mucosal” immunity which is “a virus-fighting force embedded in the tissue that lines the airways,” according to the Washington Post.

Would you try the nasal spray vaccine? Or will you stick with the jab?
