Once the cameras stopped rolling on Runs House and Daddy’s Little Girls Angela Simmons continued to capitalize off of the shows that introduced her to the masses. With such a famous last name as she has the world was likely to know who the 24 year old entrepreneur was sooner or later but, right out of high school this Simmons began building an empire of her own.
In this months issue of EGL (Everything Girls Love), an online magazine ran by Yandy Smith Angela talks philanthropy, her dating life, business ventures and lots more!
EGL: What charities or philanthropies are you involved with?
Angela: I spend a huge chunk of my time working with PETA and the Children Miracle Network trying to bring awareness to sickle cell anemia. Lately, I’ve been working with an organization called NY Class, to get the horses off the streets of New York. The horses that ride us around on carriages are treated so horribly and horses have no business being in the city. I believe that everyone, if possible should choose a philanthropic cause and dedicate some time to it. A little bit of your time can make a significant impact in the lives of others and on the world.
