“Bradgelina” Heading Towards Divorce

After a decade of dating and 2 years of marriage, the infamous (“Bradgelina”) Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from husband, Brad Pitt. Jolie listed Sept. 15 as the date of their separation and cited irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ. The couple has six children together (3 birthed and 3 adopted from Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia) which she is seeking physical custody of while granting Pitt visitation.

The infatuation between Pitt and Jolie began on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” in 2004 while Pitt was still in his first marriage to Jennifer Aniston until their split in 2005. A few months later Brad was publicly seen with Jolie, even going as far to take family pictures, disregarding Aniston’s feelings.

According to The Washington Post, shortly after, they announced that they were officially a couple and Jolie was pregnant with Pitt’s baby. About a year later, the couple adopted Pax, a 3-year-old from Vietnam. In summer 2008, Jolie gave birth to twins, Vivienne and Knox.

Last year, the couple starred together in her “By the Sea,” playing a glamorous couple vacationing together in France while their marriage was on the rocks.
