Calling All Talented Teens Who Love Design!

Enter The Project Osmosis Contest For A Chance At Cash & Prizes

If you’re in high school and you love art and design, you should enter the Osmosis All High School Design Competition. This opportunity gives you a chance to put your artistic creativity on display, and if you make it into the top 10, you’ll even receive a prize! The top prize is a spanking new MacBook computer.

This year’s theme for the competition is “Afrofuturism Is Now!,”  inspired by the movie Black Panther. This theme basically means that your form of creative expression will entail imagining what you think the future will hold under the influences of those of African descent. The categories you can choose to design for are architecture, interior design, graphic design, motion design, app design, urban design, industrial design, or fashion design.

This is a fun competition to enter, but you know there are always some rules that apply upon entry. Whatever you choose to submit must be an original piece and created between January 2018 and November 2018. Along with whatever design you choose, you need to include a typed, or neatly written, description of how your art relates to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) as well as the competition’s theme, Afrofuturism. Without this design brief, you’re piece will be disqualified.

So get started! The deadline to submit any projects is November 16, 2018. Any winners will be notified through email no later than November  30, 2018. Make sure you label all work with your first and last name, phone number, email address, and the school you attend. To get all the deets and download your application, visit the the Project Osmosis website. Good luck everyone!
