Can Cardiac Caleb & The Bears Beat the Packers Again?

All of Chicago is rooting for Caleb Williams to lead the Bears to another victory over the Packers in the wild card game of the playoffs.

On January 10th, Chicago Bears fans are going to have their eyes glued to the TV as the Bears go against their rivals, The Green Bay Packers, in the first round of the playoffs.

In the 2025 season, this will be the third game the Bears and Packers have played with the record being 1-1. This is also the third time the two teams have ever played in the playoffs with the record being the exact same.

January 10th will be the most cinematic tie-breaker of NFL history because not only are the rivals fighting for a chance to be in the super bowl, but this will settle historical beef between the teams. The stage is set, but there are some key things the Bears need to overcome if they want to be successful in this game and games going forward.

According to the NFL, β€œHaving Cardiac Caleb show up to play the first half” is the number one key to winning for the Bears.” Caleb Williams, the number one drafted quarterback, has earned that nickname after getting seven fourth quarter comeback wins this season.

Our last game against the Detroit Lions was a prime example of what could happen if things don’t change heading into the playoffs. The Bears put up zero points in the first three quarters. Cardiac Caleb came alive in the last quarter scoring 16 points, but still lost the game 19-16.

Williams is completely capable of popping off early as seen in his game against the 49ers on December 28th, going touchdown for touchdown with Brock Purdy.Β The Bears lost that close game 42-38, but it showcased the ability to play the type of football they need to play in order to be serious playoff contenders. The Bears are still ninth best in points per game, even with the slow starts on offense. This is the sign of a team that’s really good at situational football, which is critical for close playoff games.

The Bears also lead the league in turnovers, which could upset the entire flow of games especially if the offense capitalizes by scoring.Β Controlling time of possession is also crucial in playoff games and the best way to do that is by making sure the run game is operating at the highest level.

Our new coach, Ben Johnson, has performed multiple miracles to turn this franchise around. One of which is developing a thriving run scheme with the dynamic duo of D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai. Based on the NFL stats, they are the only two teammate duo in the NFL with 650 plus rush yards each. If they can get hot early in the game that opens the door for all of Chicago’s offensive weapons to prosper.

The Chicago Bears have all the tools to not only beat their rivals but make it very far in the playoffs.

The Bears vs Packers game is ready to make history at Soldier Field, starting with the ticket prices being the most expensive for a wild card game ever. The Chicago Sun Times reported, β€œThe most expensive seat on Tick Pick for the Bears game sold for $2,779.”

The Chicago Bears playoff run starts with a highly anticipated game with the deepest rivalry in NFL history. If you’re a fan like we are, then you already know who we’re rooting for. GO BEARS!
