Chicago Sky Defeated by Fever

Natasha Cloud’s on-the court argument with free agent/former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom was one of the most memorable moments of this season.

The Chicago Sky recently took fight against the Indiana Fever at the Wintrust Arena, but unfortunately couldn’t get the win. The game kicked off at 6:00 PM and teams were evenly matched. In the first half the Sky lead 51-50. Going into half in the third the quarter, the fight was still tough until an intense argument broke out between Natasha Cloud and former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom.

Cloud and Freedom’s disagreement was so bad that security and players had to step in to break them up. Freedom was seen wearing a shirt with the definition of a women. Recently Freedom announced he identified as a women and he will be declaring for the 2027 WNBA draft. Loud boos were heard as Freedom was escorted out of the arena. This may have been the reason the Sky lost their groove because the Fever would go on to score 30 to the Sky’s 13 in the fourth.

Coach Marsh stated β€œwe stand with Tasha. She wasn’t wrong. I haven’t talked to her about it yet, but she stood her ground for what she believes in. The Sky is now eliminated from the playoffs due to this lost, but key players for the game were Azura Stevens who scored 14 points and 8 rebounds, Cloud with 16 points and 7 assist, and rookie Aicha Coulibaly who scored 12 points and 6 rebounds almost tying her career high 13. The game ended with a score of 113-90.
