Let’s face it– your wardrobe is an absolute nightmare. Mine certainly is! But fear not… Here are some good starter tips for cleaning and organizing your wardrobe!
The most simple step, but maybe the most gut-wrenching… the purge! We probably have clothes in the annals of the hanging rack from years ago, and it may be cool or sentimental, but it has to go! This is always important to do to have a pleasantly concise wardrobe. Try donating or selling the items you plan on letting go.
The next step is to strive to maybe spread out your collection! If you are really indecisive about keeping clothes and thinking it’s only a matter of storage, get creative! Use spare luggage or suitcases, stuff them under your bed or dedicate a slot in a shelf to neatly folded clothes!
Another tip is to maximize the use of your hanging racks. You can use special hangers with clips or hooks to hang up pants instead of folding them! It looks nice when sorted neatly and doesn’t hog up too much space while folded on a lower level.
Good luck and happy sorting!
