Attention all creatives, sneakerheads and pop culture fiends! ComplexCon is bringing its signature art and culture fest to Chicago for the first time, and you don’t want to miss out. Pharrell Williams and artist Takashi Murakami helped bring ComplexCon to life in 2016 on the West Coast, and now our city is getting some of the excitement.
This year’s convention will host big brands like PUMA, Fila, Champion and Converse that will give attendees access to special releases. You will also find local organizations like the Museum of Contemporary Art showcasing their latest galleries and exhibits. If you get hungry during ComplexCon, stop by the First We Feast Food Zone to take on the Hot Ones Wing Challenge. Or you can grab a bite and chill with food from vendors like Paperboy (Paris), Rakki Café, Mott St. and much more including our hometown favorite…Harold’s Chicken.
Last but not least, what’s a festival in the Chi without the music? The performance lineup will feature artists Ella Mai, Taylor Bennett, Schoolboy Q, Saweetie, Vic Lloyd and many others. The DJ sets are guaranteed to keep you lit during the event too.
ComplexCon is taking over Chicago this summer from July 20-21. This weekend festival will be held at McCormick Place. Check here for the latest ticket info!
