One of Chicago’s very own legends is newly married. True Star would like to congratulate D Rose on his recent marriage to Alaina Anderson.

The former Chicago Bulls star and his longtime girlfriend got engaged in October 2021 and officially wed in September 2023. After getting engaged, Rose posted a photograph of the diamond ring and romantic dinner set up with a caption “I will always love you becuz you go above and beyond,” Rose wrote on Instagram after proposing. “We built a beautiful family and a unbreakable bond. Thank you Queen… I didn’t know how you were going to perceive me. But this entire time I was hoping that you would believe me. Believe the words that I will have your back and love u forever.” The couple confirmed the news on their social media pages with photographs from their wedding. The Chicago couple have been linked together since 2016 and share two children together; daughter Layla Malibu and son London Marley. Also, they share a son from Rose’s previous relationship, Derrick Rose Jr. aka JP.

After the blood, sweat, and tears that D Rose left on the Chicago Bulls basketball floor for his own city, we send all of our love and congratulations to the Rose family. In a newly posted photograph with the married couple, Rose captioned it with a paragraph detailing his love for Anderson and their journey of finding one another. He stated, “When I FIRST saw you I told Ryan that we were gon be together. It took both of us a while to let down our guards. That’s only becuz both of our hearts were scarred. We are two peas in a pod becuz we are truly MISUNDERSTOOD.” Although the two are very private regarding their relationship, Anderson has shared photos of their children, NBA games, her activewear company Keep It Cute Fitness, and fashion style.

Once again, we send congratulations to the happy couple.

Hi! I can eat an entire jar of pickles in one setting and I LOVE to binge watch shows on Netflix. One of the most important quotes to me:
