Damson Talks Life, Love, and Lori

Snowfall’s Damson Idris poses with girlfriend Lori Harvey.

Dating a “sex symbol” in the Hollywood industry can be extremely tough and an invasion of privacy. But dating one of the most extremely gorgeous and popular Hollywood women of our generation? That can be even harder. When the news broke of Damson Idris snagging the beloved Lori Harvey off the dating scene, all attention has risen regarding everything on Idris and their personal dating lives.

Although Harvey is rumored to have an NDA requirement for all suitors that she might decide to potentially take seriously and officially “date,” it doesn’t hurt for the men she’s with to publicly discuss her and their relationship in a positive light. Although Idris is known for his breakout role in “Snowfall” as the lead character, his public attention has raised due to his recent connection with this IT-girl.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Idris discussed how he maintains some sort of privacy in their relationship despite social media’s gossip and blogs. Even after his acclaim to fame, this 31-year-old appreciates the little things, and gives advice to anyone that might have a similar situation.

“No, I think my advice to anyone who walks down that path is to just keep it as regular and normal as possible and really, really connect to each other and not the outside forces around,” complex.com reports. “… It’s just watching other people that I admire do it so greatly and just understanding that you don’t always have to show the world your personal life and that what you do for a living is an extension of yourself, and that’s your baby. And you need to protect that. You also need to protect your personal self too.”

Even with all the media attention that has swarmed the couple, he’s not too focused or worried about it. Idris added, “And of course, it’s the topic of gossip, and the blogs want to talk about that over the work. I see that a lot. But they’ll get over it soon enough,” complex.com reports. “And in a couple days someone else will be dating and then they’ll leave me alone.”

Hi! I can eat an entire jar of pickles in one setting and I LOVE to binge watch shows on Netflix. One of the most important quotes to me:
“and in that moment, I swear we were infinite.”
