The Black Caucus kicked off day three of the DNC at McCormick Place and they brought the energy. Everyone was hyped up and full of excitement from beginning to end. During the Caucus, a special guest came out and you can only imagine the energy once they took the stage. The special guest for the Black Caucus was John Legend and he put together a powerful speech.

Next was the Labor Council and the special guest for this one was Sen. Bernie Sanders. He spoke about using social security for health benefits and overall improving the labor system where Americans can retire at a young age and be able to enjoy financial freedom while still having benefits. Day three had many of Caucus and Councils to enjoy, but the thing that put the icing on the cake and ended it all was Christine Pelosi.

The United Center just made everything else better with guest speakers Nancy Pelosi, the 42nd president of the United States Bill Clinton, and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker. We had three special performances with Steve Wonder kicking everything off. Next we had national youth poet Amanda Gorman and last was musical icon Legend along with Sheila E. One big surprise that occurred was Oprah Winfrey returning home to Chicago. To end the night, Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, gave his acceptance speech which was so powerful it left many guest in tears.
