Do Unicorn Dogs Really Exist?

A unicorn dog might not be a thing but there is a puppy that’s got a unicorn look that people are talking about. So yeah, the pic of this little guy named Narwhal is not photoshopped. And, no, the thing in the middle of 10-week-old golden retriever’s forehead is not a horn, but a small tail (and yes, he does have a regular tail).

The pup is in high demand, too. According to the Washington Post, Narwhal’s caretakers at Mac’s Mission for pets in Jackson, Missouri, (a special needs dog facility) are being cautious. The puppy, who was originally found on the street, won’t be put up for adoption until they are sure “his unicorn horn is not going to have a growth spurt and become an issue.”
