Even Michael B. Jordan Has Haters

Micheal B. Jordan mean-mugs radio personality/podcaster Lore’l during a red carpet event for Creed III as he recalls being called corny on her podcast the “The Undressing Room”.

Even the most famous people aren’t immune to bullies and haters.

Actor Michael B. Jordan recently made an appearance at his new movie’s (Creed III) red carpet event. While walking the carpet, he was stopped for an interview by “Morning Hustle’s” Lore’l, who we quickly learned was a classmate of Jordan’s. However, Jordan did not seem to be too receptive to this unexpected reunion on the red carpet.

The Creed III star and director began accusing Lore’l of calling him “corny” during a recent segment of the “The Undressing Room” podcast. Since this has happened, many Jordan fans have sent lots of hate and scorn her way. Lore’l denied that she called him corny, however, according to Entertainment Tonight, a co-host of the podcast, Eva Marcille, did in fact call him corny. And while Lore’l seemed to be bailed from the “corny” comment, she did say some less than nice things about Jordan when they were in school.

“And to be honest with you, we teased him all the time because his name was Michael Jordan. Let’s start there, and he was no Michael Jordan.” she said. “And he also would come to school with a headshot. We lived in Newark (New Jersey), that’s the hood. We would make fun of him like, ‘What you gonna do with your stupid headshot!?’”

While she has since said that she had never meant to offend anyone with her comments, it clearly did rub Jordan the wrong way. Personally, I feel like while Lore’l was in the wrong, she did admit that she didn’t mean any malice intent, and that’s commendable. But it’s important to be careful what you say to people, because people never really forget, no matter how famous they get.

What do you think? Do you agree? Or did Jordan take it too far? Watch the video and let me know what you think.
