Five Festive Must-Dos This Holiday Season

Lincoln Park Zoo Lights Festival

Christmas in Chicago is filled with festive activities, blissful lights, and cherished traditions. With so much to do, there shouldn’t be any time this season when you and your boo are bored. That goes for spending time with your family members too. Below is a list of festive activities I recommend you put on your holiday to-do list.

#1 Jack Frost Winter Pop-Up

The Jack Frost Pop-up is filled with activities. It is Chicago’s biggest outdoor event. The pop-up has: ice skating, bumper cars on ice, axe throwing, holiday music, lights, a photo section where you and your boo can take holiday pictures, seasonal drinks, and more. Not only does the pop-up provide all of these great activities, but you super last minute people can also buy your Christmas tree there (if there are any left)!  Check out Jack Frost’s Pop Up- Chicago’s Biggest Outdoor Holiday Eventhttps://welcometojacks.com prices start at $25.

#2 Lincoln Park Zoo Lights

Are you trying to find an inexpensive festive activity that is fun? Then grab your coat and gloves and head over to the Lincoln Park Zoo Lights. When you arrive, get some hot cocoa and start exploring the grounds of the zoo. If you are a picture person, there are many places where you can snap a picture behind the charming lights. Be aware that the parking lot is packed, so be patient and give yourself plenty of time. Also if you’re a light fanatic, stop at the gift shop when you first arrive and grab a pair of 3D glasses. They will double the pleasure of your experience. If you are interested in getting tickets, click this link. You can sit as close as you want too! Oh, and be worried about the sound of the movie. ChiTown Movies drive-in allows you to hear the audio through your radio. It really doesn’t get any better than that. You can control your own sound. ChiTown also has a food station. You can order pizza, wings, popcorn and your fave candy or pop. One of the dopest things about this experience is that your order will be delivered to your car so you won’t have to miss out on your favorite part of the movie!
