[Flashback Friday] The Cheetah Girls

Remember back in the days of elementary school when Disney Channel premiered with the movie, The Cheetah Girls? Debuting in 2003, it was the story of four girls from New York City who put together a music group and try to stick together through it all despite the interference of outside sources. The movie became so successful that the girls eventually became a real girl group. During the height of The Cheetah Girls, there was cheetah everything!

The film which resulted in two more sequels, starred Raven-Symone as Galleria, Adrienne Bailon as Chanel, Kiely Williams as Aquanette “Aqua” and Sabrina Bryan as Dorinda.

Kiely Williams still acts occasionally and released her first single, “Spectacular,” in 2010. Sabrina Bryan, who was a dancer before The Cheetah Girls, released a workout DVD titled, “Byou” in 2005 and also continues to act. Adrienne is a cohost on The Real along with Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tamar Braxton, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai. Raven is a cohost on The View along with Whoopi Goldberg and many others. Earlier this year, the two were reunited on The Real where they spoke about their memories on The Cheetah Girls.
