IVC Productions Literally every day feels like EscapeTracks, COLORS, and SoundCloud are featuring a different up-and-coming artist. Extremely talented men are owning the spotlight right now and building their fanbases. Here are four of them who you should add to your playlist ASAP!
Kwaye
The voice of this Zimbabwean singer is so smooth and unique that his lyrics take you on a journey through the music. Songs like the featured “Lost In My Boots” and “Hanging On” will leave you wanting more.
Masego
Masego’s studio album “Lady Lady” is well worth a listen. Or two. Or three. The 25-year-old R&B/TrapHouseJazz artist from Jamaica can definitely bring out a vibe. My personal favorites of his are “Prone” and “Queen Tings.”
Arin Ray
Fun fact, it took an elimination from the X Factor for this Cincinnati native to find his place in music. The release of his EP “Phases” and album “Platinum Fire/Platinum Fire Deluxe” are exactly what the industry needs. Trust me on this, Ray’s music should definitely be on your summertime playlist. Bangers like “Old School” and “Communication” will stay on repeat.
Lucky Daye
From having his music featured on the hit show “Insecure” to being on tour with Ella Mai and Kiana Ledé, Lucky Daye is making his R&B mark for sure. His albums “I” and “II” are filled with great beats and even better lyrics. The songs “Concentrate” and “Karma” are nothing short of amazing.
