True Star recently hosted another From the ‘Go Showcase, an event created to give young, up-and-coming artists the chance to share their talent and potentially earn a spot at the 5th Annual From the ‘Go Fest this summer.
The showcase brought together a variety of local artists, all hoping to be selected to perform on the FTG stage on July 26. One of the artists at the recent showcase was Moneyopoly. His enthusiasm and belief in the connection his music makes with others were clear in his performance. When asked why he wanted to be a part of the FTG Fest, he said, “I just want to show my talents, and I’m pretty sure everybody, and other artists, can resonate with my music.”
Similarly, The Saga, a talented female artist, explained her motivation by saying, “It’s a great platform to expand and to promote yourself as an artist, and that’s what I’m here to do.” Her approach reflected a strong desire to grow her presence in the music industry and take advantage of the opportunities that events like this provide.
The showcase was a chance for these artists, and many more, to gain exposure and get closer to their dreams. Judges for the event included industry professionals who have worked with top talent, making this an important opportunity for anyone hoping to break into the entertainment world.
