Fur Baby

Fur has always and will forever be a fashion statement, but when you add color it just takes your look to a whole new level. Furs were very popular in the 1990’s, but as always, fashion loves to repeat itself.

We are halfway through winter and the amount of fur I have seen on the fashion scene has been insane. Back in the 90’s PETA became a major problem for fur manufactures, so that made the product sales drop. Now that we have access to test out different materials, vegan furs were put in to place to make those members of PETA feel a little bit more at ease. Vegan fur, however, is not all the way vegan, but it uses less animal components than regular furs.

Colorful furs definitely add a pop to your closet and although they may be expensive. I think it is a great investment for your wardrobe. They last for years and come in handy at the most convenient times. Fur is the perfect example of how to stay stylish in the winter.

I rep the 219, Indiana. I'm a wardrobe stylist and owner of Vintage By. B. I love shopping for pieces that are different and that I know nobody else will have! But one thing I hate about shopping is going broke doing so. Throughout the years of me working in retail, I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks for saving LOTS of money when shopping. I also go against trends by Vintage shopping. I find pieces that I can pair together to create works of art. You can call me a penny pincher, but I'll look BOMB while pinching my pennies :)
