Dribble, dribble, shoot shoot… Take that ball to the hoop hoop!
Talk about busy with basketball! This summer, NBA basketball camps became an epidemic throughout the Chicagoland area and Memphis Grizzlie Tony Allen, kicked off the camps covered by TrueStar, with his second annual “Grit & Grind Basketball Academy.”
In addition to hosting a camp that teaches the fundamentals to aspiring basketball players, Allen also gave away a ton of backpacks filled with school supplies to students.
That’s nice and all, but why?
Why you ask?
Tony Allen is on his GRIND… clearly!
Because Tony Allen was born and raised in Chicago, he knows what the hood is all about… Which means, the idea of keeping potential ball players OFF the streets and ON the courts where they belong, was anything but a bad idea.
With focus on the upcoming season, Tony never forgets his priorities, and puts being an exceptional role model for others, at the top. Who knows, maybe the students became the teachers and fans might witness a new trick on the court?
The Grindfather has indeed spoken with a camp to remember and all opposing players should fear the wrath of the Grindfather himself, as well as his “young grasshoppers.” Don’t believe me? You’ll see. And you read it here, FIRST.
Good luck to Tony Allen on this upcoming season and future endeavors. Like birthdays, we wish you many, many more π SEE YOU SOON!
