Are you or someone you know in need of school supplies? If so you’re in luck!
Pastor Jolinda “Momma” Wade, mother of former NBA player Dwayne Wade, is collaborating with True Star Media, Project I Am, Genesis 127, Building Brighter Futures and more local organizations to host a back-to-school giveaway.
The giveaway will be held on September 9th at the True Star Foundation headquarters located in Bronzeville at 4655 S. King Drive Suite 204. From noon to 5:00 pm, items from socks to blessing bags, school uniforms, school supplies, book bags and more will be distributed to Chicago youth and families to ensure that the school year is off to a great start for local students.
