Kendrick Lamar took rap beef to a whole new level when he called out many rappers in his verse on Big Sean’s “Control” with Drake being one of those artists. Many artists responded to the verse, all except Drake. But he did have this to say to Angie Martinez, according to NecoleBitchie.com and here’s an excerpt:
“It just wasn’t real to me. I saw him after that and it was just love, so was that real or was it just for the people?
It was unexpected. In working your way up and sort of building relationships, I wouldn’t expect you to throw all the relationships out the door for the sake of being the talk of the Internet for 10 days.”
Kendrick Lamar keeps picking at it. Almost like he wants a response from Drake. According to NecoleBitchie, he recently took another shot at Drake when he spit this line.
“Yeah…and nothing’s been the same since they dropped “Control” And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes Ha-ha joke’s on you, high-five, I’m bulletproof Your s–ts a never penetrate pin the tail on the donkey boy you been a fake….”
