Le’Aire XCIV Debuts New Single & Video “I Love It”

Le’Aire XCIV

Chicago-based artist Le’Aire XCIV has been producing music since the age of 14. Now the singer, lyricist, and songwriter is sharing his own music with the world with a style that’s being called “jazzy futuristic.”

When asked how he describes his own sound, Le’Aire XCIV said that it was like time travel.

“I want this to be the music that gets you from here to there, whatever your destination is, and give life to the people. There’s nothing in history that I can think of, you know? Nothing you can actually put your hands on when you think of travel. It’s such a wide thought. I figured that was a good place to start, making a collection of everything of all time.”

Growing up on the South Side of Chicago has definitely influenced Le’Aire XCIV’s sound. It’s evident in his recent single “I Love It” which has a unique, chill vibe to it. The Roseland native stated, “Afrobeat is really popular right now. Being from Chicago, we got house music and steppers music. I just really wanted to incorporate that. With house music, you know you don’t know what it’s saying and you don’t care what it’s talking about. It’s just infectious.”

Le’Aire XCIV is signed to the multi-genre label The Lizm Muzik Group. The record label’s owners, Scoop and Cache’–aka Mr. And Mrs. Reese–are committed to bringing the public sounds ranging from jazz, neo-soul, punk, conscious hip-hop, R&B, and progressive for many more years to come. “People can look forward to a collective of creative and innovative music,” said the owners. “We feel that professionalism, realism and consistency are key to long term success in the music business.”

Singer Sharmon Jarmon, who is also on the Lizm Muzik Group label, is among the artists that Le’Aire XCIV has produced and written for. Other artists include Crucial Conflict, DTL, and Fel Davis of Public Announcement.

Le’Aire XCIV, 25, has been making moves since he was a child, hitting up radio stations and asking to be put on the air. His advice to aspiring artists is to “….just keep listening, and always listen honestly. That’s the thing I feel like I can tell anyone, any musician, but also be persistent because this is something that you can’t do if you don’t love it. It’s not that kind of thing. It’s not a job, it’s not a hobby, it’s a way of life.”

You can check out Le’Aire XCIV’s single “I Love It” which will be featured on Lizm Muzik Group’s forthcoming compilation album. Look out for his new album later on this year. “I have so much material already. I’m focusing on making sure that it catches your ears, eyes, and your heart.”

Seems like Le’Aire XCIV is giving us a lot to look forward to.
