Lil Nas X Ends Pride Month With A Bang Of A Tweet!

Rapper comes out on social media

We’ve reached the end of pride month and one of our faves dropped a bomb on us. On Twitter, Lil Nas X decided to officially come out on the last day of pride month. He’s been dropping hints this entire time, but if you’re anything like me you never peeped because you’re oblivious, lol.

The “Old Town Road” singer took to Twitter stating “some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.” He received tons of support from fans, other celebs, and fellow members of the LGBTQIA+community all over Twitter and Instagram. Of course there were some fake fans who were hating, but the real fans quickly checked them.

On Instagram, people were in the comments of his posts basically bashing him for being gay and saying that they’d no longer support him because of it. One of the comments said “imagine liking the same gender. couldn’t be me” with clown and laughing emojis throughout the comment. Being honest, the comment section of his photos are literally disgusting right now. Like, the homophobia really jumped out.

On a more positive note, many fans and supporters are jumping to his defense and checking all the haters and homophobes. “For all the n*ggas that ain’t gone listen no more remember, he was gay the whole time you just ain’t know. He’s still the same exact person!” said one Instagram user. I just feel like you were never really a fan to begin with if you decide to just stop supporting an artist just because they’re a part of the LGBTQIA+community. A couple people no longer supporting him isn’t gonna change the fact that he literally has one of the most popular songs in the world right now.

Another crazy hint that he dropped that most people looked over was the fact he titled his EP “7”. If you didn’t know, there are seven colors in a rainbow. He even included rainbows in the cover art of the new EP. He really was dropping hints and it completely went over everybody’s head, but now we get the message loud and clear. Way to end pride month with a bang!
