LSU Takes National CFP Championship (@LSUsports)

Last night was the annual college playoff championship game where the two best teams in college faced off for a chance at the big title. It was the LSU Tigers vs the Clemson Tigers. This match was very hyped going into the match and it was a good one.

On LSU’s side, they had the newly announced Heisman Trophy winner, quarterback, Joe Burrow. He has broken so many records this season, including last night with 60 touchdown passes in one season, and he also threw for over 5,000 yards. On the other side was Clemson, who had won 29 straight heading into this game. Their quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, hadn’t lost a game in his football career since high school, so ever since he joined the school they’ve been undefeated. With these things in mind, you can imagine the high stakes involved in this game.

The game was a great one, with both teams going into the game strong and tight at first. Clemson took the lead with a 17-7 game, but that was when everything truly ended for them. Burrow got off to a slow start but ended up getting hot and going off. By halftime, the score was 28-17 with LSU having the lead. After halftime, it was just LSU scoring two more touchdowns and Clemson scoring one, to finish the game 42-25. LSU clearly dominated this game as they have all season and it was fun to watch. Burrow is now going into the NFL draft after an amazing season, and hopes to continue winning.
