Looking for new things to do with your friends and family during the holiday season? Here are four places you can go to create a new tradition with the people you love.

JoJo’s Shake Bar
If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat JoJo’s Shake Bar is the perfect place to visit. The festive (and heated) patio settings are the perfect place to escape the cold and enjoy JoJo’s decadent desserts, holiday cocktails, and delicious diner food. This holiday edition is available at the River North and the Naperville locations.

Elf’d Up Pop-Up
Stretch Bar & Grill in Wrigleyville located at 3485 N. Clark Street opened as Elf’d Up on Wednesday, November 20. The pop-up is a tribute to the popular Christmas movie Elf. Enjoy holiday flavored drinks, and food inspired by the Elf movie.

Millennium Park
Millennium Park returns for its 20th anniversary season of ice skating in the park. The rink is open daily from November 19 through March 6 (weather permitting). Free lessons are offered each weekend, as well as during Chicago Public Schools winter break and on selected winter public holidays, but a reservation is required. Admission is free, but online reservation tickets are required.
DCASE offers free skating and hockey lessons (reservations required) from 8–9am on most Saturdays and Sundays from November 20 through March 6, 2022, teaching ice skating and hockey skills to beginner and intermediate skaters.

Jack Frost Winter Pop-Up
Jack Frost Winter Pop-up is an outdoor extravaganza with plenty of food and activities to enjoy. Activities include axe throwing, winter tubing, bumper cars, and fortune tellers. This pop-up also includes multiple backgrounds/activations for some amazing photo-ops. You can check out some of the photo-ops on their Instagram jackfrostwinterfest or on their website.
Hope these new places help you create new traditions and memories with your friends and family. Happy holidays!
