Beyoncé has had the Internet in a frenzy over her Ivy Park and Adidas collaboration. This multi-year partnership was announced last April and finally the wait is over! It seems like every day she post a sneak peak or tease of the line that will launch this Saturday. She has also been delivering PR packages to some of your favorite celebrities. “Grown-ish” star, Yara Shahidi, posted a video that showed a portable closet filled with pieces from the collection being delivered to her home. If you want to build anticipation…this is the way to do it!
Beyoncé co-founded this active wear clothing line in 2016, but then acquired the entire brand in 2018. She has introduced so many pieces that are not only fashionable, but useful as well. Her backless Ivy Park hats were hit among the girls with natural hair. It seems like every move Beyoncé makes, she always makes sure to keep black women in mind. It hard for us to find active wear that fits our curls and curves, but since the launch of Ivy Park that problem has seemingly dissipated.
The warm colors of the line are perfect for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. The price range for this collaboration is affordable for those who like to shop and keep their budget in mind. I personally LOVE when celebrities do this because they are fully aware of who their fan base is and what they can afford. I fully expect this line to sell out in one day. If you have your eye on a few things, I suggest you be ready to shop at midnight! If you miss out on this launch don’t worry! Remember, this collaboration with Adidas is a multi-year deal and this is only the beginning of Queen Bey’s reign!
