Mariah, Keith, Nicki & Randy Begin American Idol Auditions

The mother of all television competition shows, American ‘Idol’ is back! New team of judges Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and Idol vet Randy Jackson kicked off the audition process in New York yesterday that will premiere in January. Minaj expressed via twitter that her first day of judging the contestants was rather “interesting” as the prospective finalist usually are at this stage in the process. The addition of the rap star and country singer Keith Urban will definitely bring a level of diversity to the show that viewers have never seen before.
