Mask OFF

In the midst of all this coronavirus madness, people around the world are taking extra precautions to keep themselves safe. Wearing gloves, HAZMAT suits, and even face masks.

During this time of panic, the retail industry has taken a huge hit, but some companies are adjusting their inventory for times like this. I was scrolling Instagram one day and came across a few of my favorite retail companies selling face masks. They have taken a typical face mask and turned it into an accessory–bedazzled, painted, or designed to be something that can be used to take your outfit to the next level. Some companies are offering these masks for as low as $2 or sometimes FREE with purchase. I have also seen a huge incline in videos about how to make and customize your own face masks, so you can save a few bucks and possible make a few bucks by selling them to friends and families.

This is a good example of how relentless the fashion industry is and I think this a good way to keep fashionistas like us going. Check out a few of my favorite DIY videos and retail industry face masks designs.

I rep the 219, Indiana. I'm a wardrobe stylist and owner of Vintage By. B. I love shopping for pieces that are different and that I know nobody else will have! But one thing I hate about shopping is going broke doing so. Throughout the years of me working in retail, I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks for saving LOTS of money when shopping. I also go against trends by Vintage shopping. I find pieces that I can pair together to create works of art. You can call me a penny pincher, but I'll look BOMB while pinching my pennies :)
