Mendeecees Facing 8 To 10 Years In Prison

It looks like Love & Hip Hop: NY star, Mendeecees, will be heading to prison right after his wedding to fiancé, Yandy Harris. On Tuesday Mendeecees pled guilty in federal court to drug trafficking charges, an operation that took place between 2005 and 2012 where he allegedly shipped cocaine and heroin to the Rochester region.

Now, Mendeecees is facing 8 to 10 years in federal prison and/or a fine ranging from $15,000 to $5 million. He’s also facing four or five years of supervised release.  Although the judge is allowing him to remain free on the $600K bail Yandy posted on his behalf, until his sentencing that is scheduled for the end of August. But it gets worse, apparently, as part of an agreement, Mendeecees has to turn over ALL of the money he’s been making from LHH:NY and paid appearances to the FEDS.

Until he appears for his sentencing, we all can look forward to Yandy and Mendeecees get married to each live on VH1, May 25th at 8pm ET/PT. The couple have two children together, their son Omere and newborn Skylar, I surely hope for the best in this situation as far the children are concerned. No child should have to grow up with their father being away in prison or be submitted to weekly or monthly visits to maintain that relationship.
