Mindless Behavior Apologizes For Lauryn Hill Joke

It’s always great to see Mindless Behavior doing great things especially with them being one of few groups on the scene. When they appeared on stage with comedian Mike Epps to present the award for Best Female R&B Artist at Sunday nights BET Awards no one Lauryn Hill to be the subject of their ‘act’. The comment made to Epps “you sing bad like Lauryn Hill’s tax accountant bad” that had everyone buzzing was made by group mate Ray Ray. When Beyonce was announced as the award winner she was sure to thank Hill for being an inspiration to her. Ray Ray called into 106 & Park Monday night to give an apology to the legendary singer who is facing 3 years in prison for her tax evasion problems stating:

“I want to apologize about the Lauryn Hill joke, I didn’t mean no harm by it. I hope everyone can forgive me. It was like a big thing on Twitter and everything, so I truly apologize. I respect Lauryn Hill and all of them like that.”

The remaining group members Prodigy, Princeton and Roc Royal sent their apologies via twitter.
