Now fast forward and this 24-year-old with a soft , gentle voice, released a mix CD, ” Sailing Souls” , in March 2011 via her website Jhene Aiko . In 2012 she met Chicago’s own super producer No. ID who is the VP of A&R for Def Jam and the rest is history. Since that time she has maintained a strong buzz through tracks like “3:16 AM” &  the beautiful video “Mirrors”.  This new track ” 2 seconds pt 2″ tells the story of the frustrations of being in a relationship.
