I strongly believe that it is safe to say that dropping Chris was the best thing Queen could’ve done for her career?
I thought that her debut single “Medicine” would’ve been just another song that didn’t need to be made about a bad break up. But when I tell you that after listening, I felt everything that this girl said. I haven’t even been through a super bad breakup but that just tells me that she really did her job.
But “Karma” really came at the right time, because the switch up game has been real. I love Queen for making such a relatable song that doesn’t come off too sad, but still takes it there. The melody is definitely familiar, I can’t put my finger on what song, but I’ve heard it before. This realistically works to her advantage because it’s easier to sing along and she can say that she’s given the melody a different story.
