One day this past week I was just scrolling on Twitter and came across this track.
My first listen was soul snatching. I always focus in on a track when I listen for the first time so I make sure to give it a fair chance.
Leikeli’s beat alone had me shook y’all! It has small excerpts of a classic hip hop track, but then goes back to this tamberine, can knocking sound that she has throughout the entire track. It’s also repeating ‘miss me’ through the entire song that can kinda gets stuck in your head.
As a unique artist, Leikeli keeps on a mask but that doesn’t stop her from spitting some raw bars. This song itself had me feeling myself as I took a walk down the street. I literally had to stop myself like “girl stop being extra”. The track is all about being B.S. free and I love it!
