Really Tory?

‘Money Over Fallouts’ shows where Lanez’s loyalties lie

Tory Lanez

Here we go again with the mess. Tory Lanez decided to break his silence on social media and pop out the cut with an album. “To my fans … I’m sorry for my silence ….but respectfully .. I got time today …… 9 PM PST,” he said on his Twitter on Thursday. Turns out he thought an album would clear the air about the shooting that took place in July that landed Megan thee Stallion with bullet wounds to the feet.

He definitely thought wrong. Honestly, he only made himself look worse than he already did. Didn’t know that was possible, but somehow he found a way. One of the lyrics from his song “Sorry But I Had To…” said, “If you got shot from behind, how can you identify me?” Let’s rewind for a moment. Wasn’t this the same Tory Lanez that was texting Meg saying how he’s “sorry from the bottom of my heart” and that he “was just too drunk”? Those text messages were definitely an “apology” (a crappy one, but still an apology I suppose). How do we go from an apology to denying everything all together?

In the song “Money Over Fallouts,” he said, “They really got you thinkin’ Tory Lanez would do you in, for real / Don’t forget you was my b*tch, I held it down and kept it real / I would never paint no fake picture of you for some mills / And I thought that you was solid too, but look at how you doin’ me / Look at how you doin’ me, people tryna ruin me”. Clearly Lanez would do someone in because he did it. He just seems to be throwing the blame off on anybody so that he doesn’t have to take accountability. Actions have consequences and shooting Meg is something that ruined Lanez.

For now, Meg hasn’t said anything. At this point, there honestly isn’t much that can be said on her end. She spoke her truth and was slandered and joked about for coming forward with her truth. I wouldn’t blame her for keeping quiet about everything now. The Lanez stans and idiots on social media are showing that they’re siding with him and saying how they need “proof” and “evidence” before they believe anything that Meg has said. If I recall correctly, the night that Meg was shot was the same night that Lanez got arrested for a gun charge. Doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me.

Hopefully, this situation ends soon because, at this point, it’s just going in circles. I hope Meg is doing better mentally and physically and I hope Lanez figures out whether he wants to lie or tell the truth about the situation.
