Rihanna, The Billionaire Boss Babe

As we all know, Queen Rih has been putting in that “work” for as long as we can remember. A gifted performer, visionary creative and apt businesswoman, Rihanna Robyn Fenty does it all. Now, riding off of the success of an Emmy nomination for her second annual Savage X Fenty Fashion Show and rumors of new music brewing, Rihanna is now being recognized as a billionaire!

Forbes recently reported, “The bulk of her fortune (an estimated $1.4 billion) comes from the value of Fenty Beauty, of which Forbes can now confirm she owns 50%”. The other half of the company is owned by LVMH, the most influential conglomerate in the beauty world when it comes to luxury vendors. The remainder of her wealth largely comes from Savage X Fenty, her lingerie brand, and royalties and profits from an illustrious career in music. The significance of this accomplishment is not lost on the public or Rihanna herself; her savvy moves and dedication to inclusivity has secured her a win for the customers as well as her own catalogue.

Fenty Beauty maintains a 50-shade pigment range, Fenty Skin provides accessible skincare and Savage x Fenty stuns time and time again with heavy hitters for ambassadors and fresh designs. Not only is the standard being raised, but a new precedent for celebrity beauty ventures is on the horizon. Fenty Beauty beat many other popular celeb beauty brands in sales last year, proving that the response and hype it received was real. It only feels right for a Black woman to be leading the game in so many industries, and we wish Rih the best moving forward!
