The new “IT” bag has now released some of its biggest news yet with it’s latest collaboration. Telfar is all about “Feeling Good” when styling their products, and what other brand is perfect in matching that goal than UGG? Telfar Clemens has snagged the #1 spot to be the first creative in UGGs “Feel You” lineup.
Social media has been in a frenzy over Telfar products within the past year. Their bags, which come in sizes small, medium, and large, are so affordable, spacious, and appropriate enough for any occasion. This makes them the perfect find and gift for anyone who’s notorious for never leaving their purse at home. Hopefully, I’ll be able to snag some UGG x Telfar product releases when they drop since Telfar’s iconic bags are usually always sold out within minutes of restock!
The collaboration will be released in 2021. Fans are in high anticipation as Telfar continues to tease it’s possible releases ranging from a variety of products with the brand. Although Telfar x UGG are now in agreement to collaborate, Telfar has been on their radar for over a decade.
Telfar has been a long time fan of UGG and has even used the boot brand in his 2010 shows. Although he wasn’t authorized to do so, the brand didn’t seem to mind the compliment. According to refinery29.com, “Telfar is exceptional; a true pioneer and visionary and one of the first designers to believe that being unapologetically yourself is sexy,” said Andrea O’Donnell, the president of Fashion Lifestyle at Deckers Brands which owns and operates UGG. “We believe in the same thing,” she continues. “Fashion can be real, democratic, and aspirational all at the same time.”
As far as Telfar has come with his career, he has shown that in order to achieve and succeed what you truly want, the amount of time it takes to get there shouldn’t matter. I’m extremely excited for this collaboration to drop and for my money to be spent investing in a Black owned business! We have to continue to support and advertise our own so major corporations and brands such as UGGs give our innovators the chances they deserve.
Telfar Clemens is about to change the game with this upcoming release, and I guarantee this won’t be the last we hear from him in regards to major collaborations. Stay tuned for more updates!
