Self-love Is The Best Love

Tips On How To Care For Yourself

For all my girlies out there, there is nothing more important than taking care of YOU in every aspect from hygiene to mental health. The most important thing to remember is you can’t love anyone else if you don’t love yourself first. But if you’re looking for somewhere to start on this journey of self-love, I got you, sis.

Nails done, hair done everything did

Honestly going to the nail salon once a month can be so therapeutic. When you look good on the outside, it helps boost your confidence. Doesn’t it shrink your confidence when your hair is done, a new outfit on, and then your nails and toes aren’t done? Your hands are a common thing that people notice about you, so curve sometime in your schedule to go get your nails done boo.

Got bathwater that you can soak in

A hot shower or bubble bath with lit candles and some smooth R&B playing in the background screams “me time.” Although we use that time for our own little concerts, it’s important we get the cleansing part too. Nothing feels better than hopping out of a bath so fresh and so clean. You basically let all the negative vibes of the day go down the drain.

Me Time!

Self-care is a major. When you’re constantly surrounded by others and never have time for your own thoughts things can be chaotic. The noise of others and their issues can cause unnecessary stress. Me Time helps prevent the stress, it gives you time to put your life into perspective and organize your thoughts without distraction.

She’s got my attention, she’s confident

Self-love and confidence go hand-and-hand. Life is so much better when you’re confident in yourself. Allowing the little things to tear you down is a quick way to lose your God-given confidence. Take 10 seconds out of your day to look in the mirror and grow to love what you see. Don’t be afraid to tell yourself that you’re beautiful.

Your hustle don’t ever go, unnoticed baby

If you truly want to take care of yourself, grind baby grind. Meaning, your purpose is your motive; you’re taking care of yourself and you’re driven for your future. Having passion is a great way to express who you are as a person and it’s also another way of working on self-love.

Self-respect

Love yourself and respect yourself or no one else will. Self-respect is not changing your values or degrading yourself for anyone or anything. Never let anyone force you to do something you don’t want to. Don’t let anyone treat you any ol’ kind of way. Don’t carry yourself a certain way to fit a certain mold. Do you boo, and don’t let anyone change how you respect or view yourself.
