Sky Rookies Are Now College Graduates

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese is one of the team’s three rookies to recently graduate.

The Chicago Sky is winning on and off the court. After winning their Saturday, May 18th game against the Dallas Wings, further good news arises for Sky fans: their rookies have graduated from college.

Rookies Brianna Turner (University Notre Dame), Kamilla Cardoso (University of South Carolina) and Angel Reese (Louisiana State University) have all opened a new chapter in their lives and finished college. The team hosted a celebration of their accomplishments.

Angel Reese took to Twitter to shut down all the haters and naysayers.

“So now what? what was said? oh okay that’s what i thought. I graduated from THE LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY IN 4 YEARS ON TIME💋 I thought somebody without a college degree said sum.😘,” the basketball player tweeted.

Closing this chapter of her life and opening a new one, Reese has also made waves in the news after becoming a partial owner of the D.C. women’s soccer team, DC Power Football Club.

We love seeing that our team is enjoying their time in these new and exciting positions and can’t wait to keep up with them this season, on and off the court.

Congratulations to the Chicago Sky class of 2024 and all other 2024 graduates! Keep striving for greatness and breaking through barriers!
