Songs You Need For Spring

I don’t know about y’all, but when spring hits I roll out the upbeat bops. Happy songs and sunshine definitely keep me going. Maybe you don’t know what songs you want to hear. Don’t worry. As always I got you covered with five songs you need for the spring.

Meet Me At Our Spot by The Anxiety

This song is definitely great for kick-starting your day. The Anxiety is Willow Smith and her boyfriend Tyler Cole. The duo definitely balance each other out on this tune and definitely makes you hyped to go outside and go on some adventures.

Don’t Know Why by Norah Jones

Throwback alert! This is a jazzy tune that makes me think of weekends when you’re either inside or outside watching the sun set. It’s a beautiful tune to end the day with, so crank it up.

Tweety by Raveena

“Sitting in ya car today/Driving till we drift away/Blushin’ like I’m Tweety bird.” This song is definitely good for going on a drive or a nice walk. Raveena’s vocals are smooth and definitely bring heavy R&B influence on the track.

I Don’t Need You by Gayun Cannon

This Chicago based multi-instrumentalist has blessed us with another bop. Sometimes you gotta do some spring cleaning even if that cleaning means cleaning people and unnecessary things out of your space. This song is a perfect listen when you just wanna vibe and reflect.

That’s On You (Japanese Remix) by Joyce Wrice ft. UMI

Y’all know I love UMI. This isn’t new but Joyce Wrice is new to my playlists. This song specifically was the first one I ever streamed by her. The verses switch interchangeably with some lyrics being sung in English and others in Japanese. I highly recommend you give it a listen.

I hope you’ll be blasting these songs as you go on about your day!
