This icy girl is having a hot girl summer.
Initially, Saweetie and rapper YG were spotted cuddling in a private Dza pool in Cabo. Although it was speculation that the two could just be enjoying each other’s time and having a baecation, the artists have now publicly shown their growing relationship consistently in the media. They were just spotted out on a date holding hands and wearing coordinating black outfits while navigating through the paparazzi at The Nice Guy restaurant.
Fans of the artists are excited that they recently announced they will be going on tour together as well as Tyga, Kamaiyah, Wallie The Sensei, and DJ Vision. According to hotnewhiphop.com, “The “STR8 to the Klub Tour” will feature over 13 stops across the U.S. and Canada, with notable dates in San Francisco, Vegas, San Diego, and more. The crew will kick the tour off in September with a performance at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center, wrapping things up at Inglewood’s Kia Forum in November.” Saweetie and YG’s frequent appearances have turned eyes on her once again, with fans taking a second look at the video from her attendance at Usher’s concert.
After KeKe Palmer caught headlines for enjoying Usher’s performance and receiving backlash from her baby’s father regarding her attire and behavior, every female celebrity that Usher has tried to serenade during his performance has been paid close attention to to see how they’ll react; especially if they’re in a relationship. However, fans say that Saweetie handled the situation respectfully of YG. Saweetie was recorded keeping some distance from Usher, playfully singing along to the lyrics, and keeping it “cute” in the spotlight where fans reacted with their humor. I guess it’s safe for fans to guess that Saweetie and YG didn’t get into an argument or public dispute on social media platforms after the Usher concert.
As Saweetie and YG’s relationship continues to brew, fans have continuously sent their support and well wishes for the two. Since Saweetie’s previous relationship with rapper Quavo from The Migos and YG’s previous relationship with Kehlani, this is their first public appearances out with different people in a consistent manner. We hope our girl is getting everything she deserves!
