Delayed but still on the way, this yearβs Taste of Chicago is happening from Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8 in Grant Park, located at 337 E. Randolph Street. The Taste was pushed back to September due to the NASCAR Chicago Street Race blocking off some of Grant Park before and after the race.
The event is free admission, of course, and will be open for operation between 11 am and 9 pm for the duration of the event. Though it is free to enter, it is highly recommended to bring cash and card to be able to fully indulge in everything the event has to offer.
In addition to the 40 restaurants that will be there, according to Choose Chicago, there will be live performances and DJ sets for each of the days of the weekend. Artists on the lineup include CeeLo Green, Jon B., DJ Jamal Smallz, True Star alum DJ HotRod and From The βGo Fest performer Zia Jenaye.
Prior to this yearβs Taste of Chicago, there were small neighborhood pop-ups in Rogers Park, Marquette Park and Pullman Park, giving communities a taste of different parts of the city before the Chicago tradition that is The Taste takes place.
Donβt miss out on this fun-filled, all ages event!
