The Harlem Globetrotters gave Chicago basketball fans a great holiday gift. The Globetrotters brought their talents to the Wintrust arena yesterday and they put on an excellent show.

If you are a big Globetrotters fan the show featured some of the greatest like Bulldog, X-Over, Buckets, Torch, Jet, Spider, Crash, Ice, Hi-Rise, Jumpin, and Too Tall. While fans we’re happy to see the Globetrotters, they we’re also excited to see the legendary Sweet Lou Dunbar – the coach of the Harlem Globetrotters.

The show/game kicked off at 2:00 p.m. and from the start it was entertaining. Before the jump ball, Bulldog went around the area making sure everyone was good. He then kissed every camera saying, “We want every media company to know the Globetrotters love them.” Bulldog also said, “I need good luck.” He then found someone that was bald and kissed the top of their head.

Fans laughed from start to finish. The Globetrotters brought attendees to the court giving them opportunities to win prizes, even making a TikTok mid game. Many of the players also went into the crowd, the first being Bulldog who held up a kid reenacting the famous Lion King scene. You also had X-Over who hid in the crowd which was a trick to throw water on people.

By the end of the event, the Globetrotters ended beating the Washington Generals 109-103. Before leaving the arena, the Globetrotters held an autograph session for the fans. Overall the show was excellent. Be sure to visit the Harlem Globetrotters website to learn more info about their 2023 tour.
