The Lolla Line-up Is Out!

Kendrick Lemar will headline Lollapalooza this year.

You just KNOW summer is close when that Lolla line up comes out. Yup, that’s right, the Lollapalooza 2023 line-up, for Aug. 3-6th, has finally been posted! Here’s a recap on the headliners, and those you should make an effort to see.

Kenrick Lamar

This popular hip-hop artist is known for his album “DAMN” which tackles socially sensitive topics through dope tracks and fire beats. Look out for a possible performance of his new album “Mr Morale and the Big Steppers.”

Billie Eilish

Eillish, known for her melancholy songs, will have everyone in their feels this year during Lollapalooza. As a young artist with a pretty big following, the turnout should be huge from Eilish fan’s all over the globe.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

This spicy band will bring lots of rock to this four-day concert. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, known for their songs “Can’t Stop” and “Black Summer,” are guaranteed to bring the heat to Lolla’s lineup. Offering a rock/funk twist will have everyone excited for what’s to come next.

ODESZA

This electronic funk duo from Washington have been ready for the spotlight since their creation in 2012. The two Indietronica musicians will definitely have some EDM hits lined up, offering a club-like feel to Lolla. Be prepared to dance!

Lana Del Ray

All the coquette girlies are going crazy after hearing Del Ray is in this year’s line up. Del Ray’s all-American girl persona will be portrayed amazingly while performing her songs, with heavy reference to 50’s and 60’s pop culture.

Karol G

This popular Colombian singer and songwriter is bound to bring a different sound to Lolla this year. With her reggaeton based tones in music, this Latin trap artist will undoubtedly gain loads of attention. She is making history as the first Latin female artist to headline Lolla.

The 1975

This English Indie rock band has a unique sound that really makes you appreciate the significant amount of detail that goes into this music. With Matty Healy as their main vocalist, The 1975 will stun Chicagoeans just as much as they did the UK.

Tomorrow x Together

The popular K-pop boy band commonly known as TXT, fully unites the circle of different genres in Lollapalooza. With easy and lighthearted music, TXT is a great option and offers some joy and easiness in contrast to the other headlining artists.

Some honorable mentions are JoeyBadass, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie,  Pusha T, Yung Gravy, Lil Yachty, The Garden, Sabrina Carpenter, Beabadoobee, Ken Carson, and Tems.

This year has done a wonderful job of hitting all genres of music ensuring everyone’s overall enjoyment. Tickets are currently listed at $365 for general admission (four days), and presale starts on March 23rd, 10AM Central Time. Hurry and get your tickets!
