Illinois native Keke Palmer has landed a deal with the Olay beauty brand. She partnered with Olay at New York Fashion Week last year and it is clear she made a good impression on the company.
It is inspiring to see someone from our own area make so many things happen for themselves. Palmer is extremely multifaceted. From singer, actress, dancer, to television host, she has made a huge impact in the entertainment industry. Her appearance in Barbershop 2 caught the eye of so many people that it was a must to make sure sis kept working.
I get butterflies every time I see a Black girl that looks like me become the face of a major beauty brand. I have said it once and I will say it AGAIN…representation matters! Palmer even expressed her gratitude on Instagram by being able to represent women that look like her. I fully expect for Olay sales to skyrocket because of this partnership with Palmer. African-American women make up a huge percentage of consumers in the U.S., and skin and body care is something we take pride in. I already use Olay body wash and it has done wonders for me, but since I have someone to identify with leading the brand I just may look into purchasing more Olay products.

You guysssss get into this @olay Ultra Moisture immediately! I’m so hyped to partner with a brand that I’ve loved for a long time and I’m literally kissing lotion goodbye to take on the #OlayBodyWashChallenge for the next two weeks. SO much good stuff is going on from the #HustlersMovie to #StrahanSaraKeke everyday and getting to sit front row at my favorite designers’ shows during NYFW!! I want my skin to look its best for all of these #BigBoss moments and only using one product is going to make it sooooo much easier. Let’s get into it! Link in bio! ❤️#FearlessFashion #OlayPartner
