The RISE Continues!

It’s that time of the year again! Yup, time for True Star Media’s annual fundraiser: True Star Rising. The annual celebration is going down on Thursday, May 8 from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m.

This year, guests are invited to True Star’s headquarters in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood at 4655 S. King Drive. Grab a ticket and join a night of inspiration, innovation, and impact. In addition to purchasing a ticket, donating, becoming a partner, and spreading the word about the event are all ways to support True Star Rising.

The year’s fundraiser is a celebration of True Star Media’s 21st anniversary of empowering Chicago youth through media, storytelling, and workforce development. The annual event is meant to not only honor the legacy that co-founders DeAnna McLeary Sherman and Na-Tate’ Thompson have built, but to also look to the future of youth creativity and equipping the next era of digital media.

Mark your calendars for May 8 and get your tickets now.
