The Chicago Sky recently lost to the New York Liberty, ending their two game winning streak. The Liberty beat the Chicago Sky 86-69 giving the Sky their 22nd lost of the season. The Sky has to finish strong in order to make the playoffs. With just three games lefts against the Fever, Lynx, and Suns, they would need all three to make the playoffs. The Sky won a crucial game this past Tuesday against the LA Sparks who are currently fighting with Chicago for the eighth seed in the playoffs.

Key players for the recent game were Kahleah Cooper who put up 23 points and four rebounds. Marina Mabrey also helped out in the first half but lost it in the second. Mabrey finished with 12 points and three rebounds. Robyn Parks showed up playing a total of 20 minutes in the game, the most all season. Parks scored 10 points to help the Sky in contention but it wasn’t enough. We can only hope for the best for the Sky but the next three games will be crucial.
