Trap X Art : Chicago

Earlier this month, I helped host an event called Trap x Art that was held at the Alhambra Palace. I was a little hesitant at first because I did not know what to expect, but this hesitation turned into something great!

Trap x Art is more of a movement than an event. I gained so much respect for artist and their dedication to their craft after attending. Artist and designers from all over Chicago and surrounding areas came out to sell their pieces.

Yes…. I know what you’re thinking…it was a regular art show sis…but the trap music playing in the background made it so much better! It made the atmosphere more chill. I was able to sip on a drink, look at artwork, and listen to some amazing music. There were even artist there doing their artwork in real time. It was the perfect combination of TRAP and ART!

Here’s a short video of my experience at Trap X Art Chicago!

I rep the 219, Indiana. I'm a wardrobe stylist and owner of Vintage By. B. I love shopping for pieces that are different and that I know nobody else will have! But one thing I hate about shopping is going broke doing so. Throughout the years of me working in retail, I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks for saving LOTS of money when shopping. I also go against trends by Vintage shopping. I find pieces that I can pair together to create works of art. You can call me a penny pincher, but I'll look BOMB while pinching my pennies :)
