True Star Indie Spotlight: NuNu Young Celeb

Most artists have a hard time building a buzz for themselves and they have an even harder time maintaining it. What I can respect about indie artists these days is that they can take alternate routes to keep their name in today’s media by simply creating interesting and entertaining YOUTUBE channels to showcase their talent. With that being said, I had the chance to talk to a young upcoming artist that makes it her job to keep her growing fans entertained by doing awesome cover songs by well-known artists. Henceforth, I give you NuNu Young Celeb.

I can relate to NuNu’s initial grind because she joined a well-known Chicago performance company called “The Happiness Club”, or better known as THC. She started rapping around the age of thirteen and it just elevated when she went to Chicago’s Kenwood high school. With every song that she’s done a cover to she has always made sure that her fans are not only entertained, but are happy with what she delivers to the masses. I wish NuNu the very best on all future endeavors that she tackles from this point on. NuNu plans on dropping a mix tape and a EP in the near future, so be on the lookout for that…. In the meantime, check out a few videos.
